On Saturday, October 26th, starting at 2 PM at the Belgrade International Book Fair, in the “Borislav Pekić” Hall (Hall 4), as part of a series of programs organized by the KROKODIL Association in collaboration with the Embassy of Ukraine in Serbia, a selection from the diary entries of Vladimir Arsenijević will be presented. These entries document KROKODIL’s three humanitarian missions to Ukraine’s most vulnerable population, carried out in 2022, 2023, and 2024. The entries bear witness to the harrowing and tragic atmosphere of war that Ukrainians have endured since the beginning of Russia’s aggression. The program will be hosted by Marija Vuković Biserko, with excerpts from the diaries read by Branislav Trifunović. The reading will be accompanied by photographs taken during these three journeys to some of the most war-torn areas, including the Kharkiv region, Donetsk, and Kherson.
Join us to show your support for the just struggle of the entire Ukrainian society for freedom against a vastly superior invader, a battle that has been ongoing for nearly three years with no end in sight.
